BBC to introduce mandatory login for iPlayer in bid to deliver a “more personalised” service
The BBC will require all iPlayer users to login into the popular catch-up service from 2017 as part of its drive to provide a “more personalised and tailored” service to viewers and listers. BBC brings iPlayer Live Restart to Android and iOS apps
Android and iOS smartphone and tablet users will soon be able to scroll back and watch BBC shows they've missed the start of.
